Thank you
It’s really important to us to make sure this website contains the sort of information that will help local young people make informed and safe decisions about their sexual health. It’s also important that it looks and feels right for them too. That’s why we worked with local young people aged 14 to 24 to get their views and feedback about what they wanted to see on the site and how it should look and read. We also got the help and expertise of local staff working in sexual health and teenage pregnancy services to make sure the info is up-to-date and accurate.
Thank you to everyone who gave up their time to share their ideas, views and knowledge, especially:
- Featherstone Improvers at Featherstone Young People’s Centre
- Pupils and staff at the Community School in South Hiendley
- Young people at City Limits in Wakefield
- The Princes Trust group at Crofton
- Families from the Young Parents group at Airedale Children’s Centre
- Youth Development Support Services (YDSS) young people’s group at Upton Young People’s Centre
- Staff at Margaret Street CaSH clinic and Josephine Butler GUM clinic especially those who took part in the films.
You were all so enthusiastic and we couldn’t have created the site without your help – keep letting us know what you think through the feedback form.
Thanks from NHS Wakefield District
